A farmhouse rental indicates a structure that is primarily located in the countryside and was once used as a farmhouse which has been restructured into a rental property for incoming holiday and vacation seekers. Normally farmhouses are set on two floors, and in many cases the actual living quarters are upstairs on the first floor - not the ground floor. A Tuscan farmhouse rental is intended to be a more rustic appearance on the exterior but makes no refernce to the luxury or standard of the decor inside.

A farmhouse rental will have no shared walls with other villas.

A farmhouse rental will have its own private outside area. The outside area can be a covered terrace, a fenced in garden area or a balcony for their exclusive use.

A farmhouse rental will have a private bathroom (with shower or tub, sink and WC).

A farmhouse rental will have a full bed for the number of persons indicated in the description.

A farmhouse rental will have a fully equipped kitchen (with sink, cooking burners and refrigerator). The villa will have an oven and/or a freezer only if indicated in the description.

A farmhouse rental will provide each incoming guest with bath, bed and kitchen linens.
